
Tommie Burton is a professional soloist and actor serving throughout the Pacific Northwest. Tommie sings with the Northwest African American Museum’s Cultural Ensemble and is a member of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, and soloist for Resounding Love Center for the Arts. Tommie is also a regular guest soloist for various religious communities in the Pacific Northwest.
Tommie was a background singer on “Bring It Home” for Grammy award winning, multi-platinum Canadian singer, Michael Bublé during the sold-out Seattle show of the “Higher Tour” at Climate Pledge Arena in 2022. Tommie is also a studio session vocalist for various music productions.
Tommie is also invited as a regular guest soloist to sing the US and Canadian national anthems for various major league sports franchises, including the Seattle Sounders, Seattle Reign, Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Mariners, and the LA Clippers. Tommie is currently the official national anthem singer for the Seattle Kraken.
Tommie works in theater performing in two seasons of the Seattle-based production of Langston Hughes’ “Black Nativity” at the Intiman Theatre as part of the musical cast and featured soloist for “Sweet Little Jesus Boy” and actor as the character “Jed” (shepherd). Tommie continues his education in acting at Freehold Theatre Lab Studio in Seattle.

On October 3, 2022, Tommie performed the US national anthem for the inaugural "Rain City Showcase" NBA preseason game featuring the Los Angeles Clippers hosting the Portland Trail Blazers at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle. This marked the first NBA event at the newly reconstructed arena.
On September 28, 2022, Tommie sang background for Grammy award winning, multi-platinum Canadian singer, Michael Bublé on the song “Bring It Home” during the sold-out Seattle show of the “Higher Tour” at Climate Pledge Arena.
